I wanted a place to jot down ideas about what the hell ever comes to mind. I chose the blog name from a ridiculous situation that occurred with one of my grandsons last year. It's exactly the kind of thing I intend to blog about here.

Here's the [ridiculous] story.

The young lad in question was in 4th grade last year. During math class they started working on the Metric System. Naturally they started with millimeters and centimeters, but this is where it gets weird. Instead of JUST teaching the those correct terms, millimeters and centimeters, they were told to call them, BITS and SKINNIES.
.
Now why in the hell would they do that? What next, the number SIX will be called, "huh", and George Washington will be called...Bob. What's the point of creating terms that mean nothing instead of just teaching it straight and correct.

At any rate, that's the kind of foolishness and stupidity that I'll blog about here.
